Greyhound Transportation Corp. has applied to British Columbia’s Passenger Transportation Board (PTB) to reduce inter-city bus (ICB) service levels in the province’s interior, due to falling passenger demand. 2. Eliminate Winfield’s four daily stops in each direction between Vernon and Kelowna.
3. Eliminate the Peachland stop (2/day each way) between Kelowna and Penticton.
4. Reduce minimum frequency between Penticton and Vancouver from 11 trips weekly to 7 (one/day).
5. Reduce minimum frequency between Cache Creek and Vancouver from 2/day to 1/day in each direction.
6. Reduce minimum route frequency between Dawson Creek and Prince George from 28/week to 24/week and reduce the Mackenzie stop to one trip/day from the current two.
7. Reduce frequency on Highway 16 between Prince George and the Alberta Border from 20/week to 14/week (one trip per day in each direction).
