Vancouver Airport Services (YVRAS) has won a 10-year contract to manage and develop Nassau International Airport in The Bahamas.
The fourth-busiest airport in the Caribbean, Nassau handles more than 3 million passengers annually. YVRAS, a subsidiary of the Airport Authority, will introduce best practices, manage a $225-million (US) terminal development program, enhance commercial venues at the airport, and improve U.S. pre-clearance facilities and services.
YVRAS operates 22 airports in eight countries including The Bahamas, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Chile, Cyprus, Jamaica, Honduras and Turks and Caicos. Nassau is the tenth Caribbean airport under YVRAS management. (Source: YVRAS)
